TalkDBToMe
Ask the database in business language. Get the same answer every time.
A semantic layer between people, agents and your databases: metrics and dimensions with names, definitions, synonyms and a glossary. Questions resolve to those names; the SQL is compiled, never generated. -
The model only picks names; the compiler writes the query. Joins are declared and measured, so a query that would repeat rows is refused.
Structured queries run with no model: `query` with exact names, `catalog` for the names, `find_values` to look up the exact value of an account, product or location.
Drafted from your schema (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), including joins the schema never declared; your team reviews and publishes.
Declared writes: INSERT, UPDATE or procedure in a reviewed file, one table, bound parameters, expected row count, one transaction, repeat protection. A builder writes them from the database catalog and previews the rows that would change.
Explanations in words are recomputed against the data before they're shown.
